Have you noticed the 4 foot gong sitting in the Flawless Med Spa entry way and thought to yourself, “What on earth is a Gong doing at a Med Spa?”
To answer in simple terms, we are in the process of expanding our wellness services in nutrition, stress reeducation, positive thinking and longevity. We introduced Sound Baths this summer and patients are loving them. The sound of the gong helps minimize the “monkey mind” which allows people to experience meditation and profound relaxation.
The Healing Power of Sound Bath Meditation and Gong Therapy
In recent years, the practice of sound bath meditation has surged in popularity as a therapeutic and meditative tool. Rooted in ancient traditions but adapted for modern wellness, this form of sound healing offers a unique approach to relaxation, stress relief, and spiritual connection. The Sound Baths at Flawless Med Spa incorporate the Gong. People say that the gong vibrations have been known to induce altered states of consciousness, release emotional blockages, and promote healing on a cellular level. Sound Baths compliment many of our wellness services like Hormone Replacement Therapy, Medical Weightloss and Nutritional Longevity.

What If I can’t meditate or don’t know yoga?
No worries! This is the perfect experience for someone who wants to try meditation but can not quiet their mind. We will be seated on the ground but people are welcome to use a chair. As for yoga, there is no requirement to know or to have tried yoga. Our teachers will offer modifications but our motto is to go slow, be deliberate, respect your body and challenge the mind.
How much is a class and how do I register?
First come first serve. We will be launching an online scheduling system in the next couple of weeks. The price of the class is subject to change but we are asking for a donation of $20/person. We are donating the majority of the proceeds to the Balance Docu-series, a series about perimenopause and women’s health.
