How Does Restylane Work?

Restylane is a hyaluronic filler that is viscous and moldable, sort of like jelly. It is easier to manipulate than other fillers, allowing experienced injectors to sculpt the target area more precisely. One big advantage of Restylane and other hyaluronic fillers is that they are reversible. If a patient experiences a negative reaction or dislikes the end result, Restylane can be dissolved with a special enzyme and naturally filtered out by the body.

What Restylane Treatments Does Flawless Offer?

Restylane Silk

Ideal for adding volume and definition to the lip line. Silk is composed of smaller particles and is the top choice when subtle contouring is necessary.

Restylane Kysse

Firmer than Silk, Kysse is also for volumizing the lips and smoothening perioral lines. It lasts for around a year, 6 months longer than Silk.

Restylane Refyne

Similar to the original formula, Refyne targets mild to moderate facial wrinkles and folds, as well as smile lines and nasolabial lines.

Restylane Defyne

Often used for defining the chin and jaw, as well as deep facial wrinkles and folds. Gel particles are larger and results last for up to a year.

Restylane Contour

Designed to plump and contour the mid-face, and often used for cheek enhancements. Gives face a supple, youthful look.

Restylane Lyft

Popular for adding volume to the back of the hands, making them look younger. Regular use encourages collagen production for long-term healthy-looking hands.

Your hands are windows to your real age. Thanks to thinner skin and frequent movements, hands often show wrinkles and age spots first. Hand rejuvenation is an innovative treatment that uses Restylane Lyft to temporarily plump thinning hand skin, as well as smooth away wrinkles and fine lines.

Flawless offers a special package that combines a Pico laser treatment along with Restylane hand injections. The Pico Laser helps to build collagen and lighten the pigment on the hands. Combined, these treatments provide a fuller, younger look to the hands.

What Is Aftercare Like?

Similar to other injectable treatments, patients should avoid exercise for a day and avoid saunas, hot showers or baths, tanning beds, and other activities associated with excessive heat for 24-48 hours. It is also recommended to avoid putting pressure on the parts of the face that were treated.

Is There Pain Or Downtime After Restylane Treatments?

Restylane injections may cause mild discomfort, redness, and swelling. Patients should expect to feel a small pinch during the treatments.

There is no downtime required for Restylane sessions, but your injection sites may feel tender for a few days. Many people return to work, social activities, and other daily routines immediately after.
